Slate vcc rc tube3/30/2024 ![]() If any console Emu was blaring obvious and say it was a true console copy.People would think that console is broken.Ĭonsoles aren't really supposed to be some obvious thing that jumps out.Įach one even Neve's were created in it's time to be clean. Maybe your ears don't know what to listen for? YMMV, but I think they're a great tool and well worth the $99. That said, I tend to use the other VCC emulations more, although I do use the RC Tube on occasion. I wouldn't expect a radical change from a summing buss circuit anyway. ![]() I toggled the track with the plugin on & off while adjusting the volume to account for the change in volume (not scientific I know, but hey.) and what I hear is relatively full-range, but it seems to me to be adding a slight bump in the high end and a bit of bottom (maybe in the lower mids?).Īnyway, it was a slight change but it was affecting the audio. ![]() Next, insert the plugin on one of the tracks & you'll hear the difference. Now, if you flip one out of phase (with the track's phase button) it will null & you hear nothing. What I did was take a single track (A rendering of a drum loop from BFD ECO, in my case) and duplicate it to another track (Right-click on the track & select "Duplicate Track"). It is adding a little something, but it's pretty subtle. OK, I checked it on my machine with a null test.
